Jewelry CAD Dream can be learnt entirely from our online resources. We offer hundreds of online video tutorials so you can learn as and when you please. Watch and re-watch as your leisure. For an additional cost you can also gain access to JCDv15 training and our Discord Room. This provides valuable strategies and ideas when it comes to your own work.
Jewelry CAD Dream’s most distinguishing feature, and arguably its greatest asset, is its full modeling history. This proves to be an invaluable companion during designing, allowing for complete customization through the entire process without the need to re-perform operations. JCD’s competitors do not offer such an advanced history, which can often lead to a lot of time wasted.
Jewelry CAD Dream does not require any prior knowledge of the jewelry bench; however it can be useful for understanding some of the tools within the software. Regardless, the online resources will bring you up to speed with all the relevant jewelry knowledge; including how to design whilst keeping in mind requirements for the manufacturing process.
If you have previous experience in CAD software, you will have a distinct advantage. Many of the principles and strategies are transferable across platforms. So you may feel comfortable jumping straight to the Intermediate and Advanced training videos.

Jewelry CAD Dream designs can be exported as STL files that can be read by 3D printers and milling machines. You can choose any manufacturing bureau you wish. Alternatively, Jewelry Cad Cam Masters LLC offers in-house production; please contact us for further details.

Due to the nature of this software, we do not offer a try-before-you-buy. However, you can subscribe to our software packages for a very low monthly rate, providing a very small initial investment. So you can get a feel for the software before you commit to a full purchase, or just continue to subscribe monthly!
The most important things to consider when sending a file for manufacture are that it is a closed (watertight) STL file and that your minimum feature size is .25mm. For example, lets say you want to create spheres/milgrain on a ring. Don’t make them less than .25mm. The same with text, not thinner than .25mm. The video tutorials will often mention manufacturing tolerances and limitations such as these.
Our online training resources are split into several groups, from Essential to Basic to Intermediate and Advanced training. So it is entirely up to you to pick and choose the level and pace at which you feel comfortable.

Technical Support

You will need Windows 10/11 to have compatibility with our program. However, Older Macs are compatible with Windows operating systems and there is software for Macs that provides reliable merging of the two operating systems, such as Bootcamp. Bootcamp is a free Mac to Windows converter. Newer version of Mac dont work with Bootcamp or Parallels.

After a purchase or subscription, you will be given access to the download files for JCD V14+/15 whichever you purchased. A software code and license needed to activate the software (after installation)will be emailed. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for your license codes (it is usually must faster than this).

If affordability is an issue, we offer generous financing plans for full purchases of our software packages. Please contact us for more details. Furthermore, our software packages can also be subscribed to for a monthly rate.

You can subscribe monthly for access to JCD V14+/15. This is an annual commitment, paid month to month. After you make a payment each month, you will receive a new set of codes to install, via email, to keep your software active.

Recommended System Configuration & Optimization

For optimal performance, we strongly recommend disabling or completely removing all third-party antivirus software pre-installed by the manufacturer.

Standard retail antivirus programs (such as McAfee, Norton, or proprietary manufacturer security suites) often utilize aggressive background scanning that can interfere with the complex installation and real-time processing of CAD software programs

Manufacturer Add-ons: Certain brands, notably Hewlett Packard (HP), frequently ship hardware with pre-loaded “system assistants” or aggressive security add-ons. These background utilities are known to conflict with CAD software stability.

Our Recommendation: We advise performing a “clean uninstall” of these third-party security suites and manufacturer-specific add-ons prior to installing Jewelry CAD Dream.

Alternative: For a secure yet CAD-friendly environment, we recommend utilizing the native Windows Defender, which provides robust protection without the aggressive resource-locking common in third-party retail software.
